Anthony “Tony” Tobias Wonnacott, age 57 of Middleville, passed away on July 23, 2023. He was born on March 13, 1966 in Ontonagon, MI to Harvey and Mildred (Wilson) Wonnacott. Tony was an extremely hard worker, and was proud to have worked for the last 22 years in the same building, most recently for Kendrick Plastics. When he wasn’t working, he could be found outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, swimming, floating down the Thornapple River, off-roading or riding his ATVs. He loved spending time in the pole barn that he built, grilling, or around a bonfire enjoying a beverage or two with his friends. Tony is survived by his children: Shannon (Jason) Stowie, Anthony J. (Heather) Wonnacott; grandchildren: Hannah, Lindsay, Jayden, Abby, Sean, Carson; great-granddaughter, Arayah; girlfriend, Connie Warren; siblings: Jeff (Sharron) Wonnacott, Pam (Clayton) Aprill, Sheilla (Randy) Tyers; sister-in-law, Bess Wonnacott; several nieces, nephews, and many close longtime friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob Wonnacott. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at Tony’s house.
