Richard D. Collins, 75, of Easton, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Hamilton) Collins with whom he shared over 52 years of loving marriage. Born in Hickory, NC on May 28, 1948 he was the son of the late Ralph and Helen (Hale) Collins.

Richard started his career as a 6th grade school teacher, and was serving as a youth director where he was called to serve. He furthered his education and earned a Master of Divinity degree. Richard served as senior pastor for over 38 years serving; Twin Hill Church of the Nazarene, Muncy, PA, New Egypt Church of the Nazarene, New Egypt, NJ, Church of the Nazarene, Bethlehem, PA, and was currently serving as an associate pastor at Promised Land Church of the Nazarene, Bethlehem, PA. Richard was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors:  Richard will be lovingly remembered by his wife Linda; daughter, Karen Collins and wife Inge Tusing; son, Andrew Collins.

Services: A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11 AM at Bethlehem Promised Land Church of the Nazarene,3982 Hecktown Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18020 with a reception to follow. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmfuneralhome.com.
