James Kenneth Sargent, II, age 74, of Martinsburg, WV died on July 8, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on October 16, 1948 in Washington, DC to the late James Kenneth Sargent and Emily Smith Sargent.

James was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

In addition of his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Sargent.

James was the loving and devoted father of Janette Simmons of Beaufort, SC, Judith Folks of Martinsburg, WV and Jessica Pando of Hagerstown, MD, beloved brother of Carolyn Childers of Hedgesville, WV. Step-father of Michele Rhodes of College Park, MD, and Michael Porter of Hanover, MD, he is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his extended family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Cacapon State Park at the Gazabo, 818 Cacapon Lodge Drive, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411.
