Barbara Ann Williams Obituary

Barbara Ann Williams passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 14, 2023, at the age of 59.

Barbara was born January 21, 1964, in Waco, Texas, to Scott and Floryann Williams. She managed Scott Williams Drywall her entire adult life, alongside her twin brother, John. Much like her dad, she was very dedicated to her work and there was never a question about what she was thinking. Barbara took great care of the people around her and found joy in spending time at the Special Olympics with her brother, Jeff, spoiling her first grandson, Branson, and serving at St. Jerome Catholic Church. Barbara was no stranger to anyone – if you had a story to tell, she wanted to hear all about it. Especially from her son, David, with whom she talked to every day. Sometimes even multiple times a day. She was a talker, and she was loved for it. Barbara was a bright light in this world. From her contagious laugh and smile, to her giving heart and strong faith, Barbara was a blessing to all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Barbara is survived by her lifelong partner, Zach Green; son, David and wife Lauren Hollingsworth; three grandchildren, Branson, Sawyer, and Tate; brother, John and wife Valerie Williams; brother, Jeff Williams; and nephew, Taylor Williams.

Services will begin on Thursday, July 20, with a visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. A funeral mass in Barbara’s honor will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, followed by a graveside burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Special Olympics of Texas and St. Jerome Catholic Church, Waco, Texas.

The family invites you to leave a message or memory on our "Tribute Wall" at www.WHBfamily.com.
