Luis Tony Rivera Obituary

Luis “Tony” Rivera

April 22, 1988 – June 2023

Tony was called to God in June of 2023 at the age of 35. He attended Millennium High School where he played football and baseball as well as being an academic standout, most notably in math. Having 3 brothers, Tony was competitive in nature and enjoyed winning at bowling, poker, darts, pool, video games and pretty much anything that gave him bragging rights. Tony set a goal to be a professional poker dealer which he accomplished in 2016 when he dealt at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Tony was a beloved uncle that enjoyed being involved at all their birthday parties, holidays, and attending their sporting events where he was often their loudest fan. An admirable characteristic of Tony’s was his willingness to help others in times of need whenever he had a chance. Tony was the greatest companion anyone could ever ask for and will be missed tremendously by all that knew him.

Tony is survived by his parents Tomas & Becky Rivera; 3 brothers T.J. (Cootie), Joey, Mike (Karla); his GrandPa Joe; 6 nieces and nephews, Zoey, Nolan, Mallory, Izzy, Nena, T3; and numerous extended family members and dear friends.

As we celebrate his beautiful life, let us find solace in his legacy of love and compassion. May Tony’s soul find eternal rest, and may his family be comforted by the outpouring of love and support during this most difficult time.

Tony's Novena which will run every night starting at 7:00 p.m. until Sunday, July 16, 2023.
