Cory Lee Flippin, 23, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Sunday, July 2nd, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Cory was born in Glasgow, KY on November 19, 1999, a son of Teresa (Rhoton) Botts, of Tompkinsville, KY and the late Radford Lee Flippin.
Cory worked in construction. He enjoyed watching and playing basketball, video games, spending time with family and playing with kids. He loved his four dogs. Cory attended Oak Grove Baptist Church,and he loved the Lord.
Cory is survived by his mother, Teresa Botts, of Tompkinsville, KY; grandmother, Margie Deckard Clarkson, of Springville, TN; two sisters, Tierra Brown, and husband, Chris, of Red Boiling Springs, TN; Iris Lee Flippin, of Lebanon, TN; four brothers, Trent Botts, Nicholas Botts, Kalvin Wicklin and William Wicklin, all of of Fayetteville, NC, his girlfriend, Hannah King, best friend, Dalton Taylor; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
He is preceded in death by his father, Radford Lee Flippin, maternal grandparents, Lois and Ronnie Rhoton, and paternal grandfather, Radford "Buddy" Flippin.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 9th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday, July 8, 4-8 p.m., and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
