Doris Ann Sheible Obituary

Doris Ann Sheible, 84, of Eldon, Missouri passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at her home. She was born on February 22, 1939 in Nebraska; a daughter of the late Nikola Covic and Marion (Hoover) Covic.


She was a 1957 graduate of Chadron Preparatory High School in Chadron, Nebraska. She received her Masters Degree at the University of Denver in 1963. She spent her career as a Civil Service Librarian and retired in 2000. Doris enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, puzzles, and gardening. She also enjoyed playing piano and organ. She played organ for Mt. Carmel Church for several years. Most of all Doris enjoyed spending time with her family.


She is survived by her daughter: Christina Olmsted (Don); sisters; Lois Houder, Francis Hull; grandchildren, Gillian Evans (Zach), Anneliese Brundin, Kimber Brundin; great grandchildren, Warner Evans, Charlotte Evans. Doris is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chuck Sheible; brothers, Al, Gene, Dick, and Don.


Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Lake of the Ozarks. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Lake of the Ozarks. Interment will be at Fort Leonard Wood Veteran’s Cemetery. Pastor Charlie Kempf will be officiating.
