Marshall E. Hall Obituary

Marshall E. Hall, 89, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. Marshall was born in Sturgis, Kentucky on March 15, 1928 to the late Lloyd and Pauline (Orr) Hall. He was a box bundler at Inland Container for 38 and a half years. Marshall enjoyed fishing at Garvin Park and Burdette Park. He was an accomplished woodworker who made rocking horses for all his grandchildren. Marshall deeply loved his family and will be greatly missed. Marshall is survived by his wife of 70 years, Betty F. (Acuff) Hall of Evansville, IN; sons, Roger Dale Hall (Judy) of Bethpage, TN, Jerry Wayne Hall (Connie) of English, IN, and Mark Anthony Hall (Karen) of Allendale, IL; 9 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Marshall was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Dane (Jim) and Frances Brackett (Roy); brothers, Lloyd Raymond Hall (Christine), and James Milton Hall (Mary); and his parents. A celebration of Marshall's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor James Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday at Browning Funeral Home.
