JOHN ALBERT CUNDIFF Boonville, IN. John Albert Cundiff, 88, of Boonville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. John was born on January 22, 1929 in Boonville, Indiana to the late George Lee and Rachel (Folsom) Cundiff. John graduated in 1947 from Richland High School. He retired from Whirlpool after many years of service. John served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. John was an active member of the V.F.W. for over 60 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Bonnie Cundiff, siblings, Martha, Hazel, Stella, Richard, George, Robert, Howard, and Paul. John is survived by his children, Toni Wade and (Fred) of Boonville, IN; Bruce Cundiff and (Kim) of Boonville, IN; grandchildren, Rachel Price (Ryan); Troy Osha (Sheila); Derrick Hedges (Kyla); Julie Powers (James); Nick Burch (Lauren); Tanner Cundiff; Tricia Cundiff; great-grandchildren, Dillen Broshears, Justin Price, Jaden Price, Cody Luttrell, Molly Powers, Corbin Walker, John Burch, Grace Bunch; sisters-in-law, Nina Cundiff, Bettye Cundiff, Mary Cundiff; seveal nieces and nephews. A memorial graveside service will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Maple Grove Cemetery with Boonville V.F.W. Post #3418 to conduct military honors.
