Wanda J. Hepler, 88, of Smithton, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in Excela Health Frick Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Monessen on August 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Jean M. (Hagerty) Gilmour.
Wanda was a woman of great Christian faith and lived her life that way. She mentored and taught women in Tuesday morning Bible Study for years and spoke on many occasions, “Desiring all to walk in God's love”.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Hepler; grandchildren, Eli, Emma and Greta and the most recent blessings, twin grandsons, Aldin and Bodhi; sisters, Milne (Jim) Wujcik of Monongahela and Bobbi Marr of Crowley, TX; and her fur babies, Talulah and Lucy, who always got a kind word and soft lap.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy J. Hepler and son, Greg.
