Robert D. Willey, Sr. died June 1, 2023 surrounded by his family after a short illness. He was born in Presque Isle, Maine on August 28, 1951 and grew up in Skowhegan, Maine. He moved to East Machias, Maine and attended Washington Academy. He had many jobs during his life but the one he enjoyed most was his last job. He drove school bus for the East Machias School Department for 20 years. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn of East Machias, his son Robert, Jr. and his wife Annemarie of Marshfield, and his son Jason and his wife Rhiannon of East Machias. He also is survived by four grandchildren, Matthew, Jeremiah, Hunter, and Alissa. There will be no services per his request.
