Mr. Charles Barron Mattison, age 80, of Rock Hill, SC passed away on Thursday, June 1st, 2023, at home.

Barron was born on July 13, 1942, in Greenwood, SC. He was the son of the late Charlie Burton Mattison and Maude Eugenia Bagwell Mattison.

Barron was a machinist at Bowater Corporation. He was a veteran of the US Army where he served in Vietnam.

Barron is survived by his wife, Dixie Clark Mattison; children: Katherine Mattison, Camille Mattison, Charles C. Mattison (Michelle), as well as his grandchildren: Trey Pittman, Tyler Peel, and Logan Peel and his great grandchild, Banks Pittman.

Services will be held privately.
