Leroy Lynn Montgomery, 74, passed away peacefully on June 3rd, 2023, in Rock Hill, SC. He was born on June 1st, 1949, in York, SC to the late Jessie & Guy Montgomery. 

He attended York Comprehensive High School before enlisting in the United States Marine Corp. in 1968. He was a Vietnam vet who was proud to serve his country. He belonged to service organizations, American Legion, VFW and Rolling Thunder. He loved his family first and foremost.     

He is survived by his wifey, Karen Montgomery, his children, Troy (Kristen) Campbell, Anthony (Patrick) Montgomery, Charley (Wes) Deas, Robert Montgomery, and Joseph Montgomery as well as his grandchildren, Tyler, Travis, Hailey, Caroline, Ryan, Tanner, Gavin, and Lily and his great grandchildren, Lilly and Faith. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Legion post 34 at 524 Heckle Boulevard, Rock Hill, SC. 

Visitation will be held at Liberty Church, 410 Blessed Hope Rd. York, SC 29745 on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023, from 2-3 pm followed by the service at 3 pm officiated by Reverend Eddie Ramsey. The family welcomes you to the graveside at Rose Hill Cemetery, Cemetery St. York, SC
