Rae C. Zuck, 96, of York died June 2, 2023 at Autumn House-East. She was the wife of the late Jack F. Zuck. Rae and Jack were married for 67 years prior to his death in 2014.

Born August 24, 1926 in Dillsburg, she was the daughter of the late Paul C. and Maude E. (McClellan) Miller.

Rae was a seamstress at Danskin and retired after 28 years of employment.

Rae graduated from Dillsburg High School. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Rae and Jack were active in many different aspects of the church. Rae enjoyed cooking, listening to hymns, and reading the Bible. She loved to spend time with her family.

She is survived by her 2 children, Carolyn Burke and her husband, Martin of Brigantine, NJ and William “Bill” Zuck and his wife, Melinda of Seven Valleys and her 3 grandsons, Jeremy Zuck, Ian Burke, and Jack Burke. She was preceded in death by her 8 brothers and sisters, Ruth Gerber, Isabelle Lamparter, Margaret Smith, Francis Blosser, Ida Spangler, Robert Miller, James Miller, and Harry Miller.

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Mount Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mount Rose Avenue, York with her pastor, the Rev. Tab E. Cosgrove, officiating. Friends are to meet at the entrance to the cemetery at 1:15 p.m. on Friday.
