<p>Sharon Marie Brown, of Stratford, wife of the late James R. Brown, passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.&nbsp; Born in Bridgeport the daughter of the late Carolyn and Evald W. Olson, she had been a lifelong area resident </p><p>Sharon was an art major at the Silvermine Art School and with a life-long love of all things arts, theater and entertainment.&nbsp; She was famously known by friends and family for her love of "I Love Lucy".&nbsp; Sharon devoted her life to being a homemaker raising her two children, volunteering time at their schools and participating in the PTA.&nbsp; Later in her life took on the role as a nanny to beloved family friends,&nbsp;a role she loved with all her heart.&nbsp;Sharon had a deep appreciation for nature and animals.&nbsp; </p><p>She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Jackie&nbsp;Swetckie and her husband Peter and their son, Jackson&nbsp;and Michelle Spear and her husband Jason and their children Natalie and Landon; her sister, Kristine Huit, and her husband John and their children &nbsp;Nicolette and Evan. </p><p>Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield.&nbsp; Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery. </p>

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield.  Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
