Edwin C. Nordfors
<p>Edwin C. Nordfors III, 43, died of cancer on May 30, 2023 at a local Hospital. He was born on June 9, 1979 in Bangor, the son of Edwin and Janet (Irwin) Nordfors. </p><p><br></p><p>He is a 1997 graduate of Brewer High School. He worked as a carpenter, factory worker, roofer and laborer.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his children, Camryn of Bangor, Mersaides of Milford, NH, Jessie of Brewer and Cloie of Bangor; his sister, Kristyn Nordfors and her partner, Thomas Kittredge, of Brewer; his fiancée, Spring Morin and her children, Sam and Freyja, of Bangor; as well as aunts, uncles and many dear cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Richard and Helen Irwin and Edwin and Adeline Nordfors.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are welcome to call 3-4 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2023, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St. Bangor, where a funeral service will be held immediately following at 4:00 p.m.</p><p><br></p><p>Gifts in Edwin’s memory may be made to the Bangor Homeless Shelter 263 Main St, Bangor, ME 04401 or the Bangor Humane Society 693 Mt Hope Ave, Bangor, ME 04401. </p><p><br></p><p>The family would like to thank the staff on the 6th floor of St. Joes for their compassionate care.</p>Obituary
