It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing surrounded by those he loved in Sudbury on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of Lena Messier. Loving stepfather of Angel Morin, Ramona Driscoll, Sandra Guido, Donna Drysdale, Danny Daigle and father of Gerry Messier, Patrick Messier and Patricia Messier. Robert will be missed by his entire family and friends. Robert was proud to have been retired from Falconbridge after many years of service. He loved camping, campfires, hosting gatherings and being outdoors.
