Stanley P. Saucier Obituary

Ashland- Stanley P. Saucier, 63, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his family. Stanley was born July 29, 1959, to Maurice and Thelma (Ouellette) Saucier.


Stanley was a graduate of Ashland District High School, class of 1977. Following his completion of high school, Stan joined the United States Air Force and served until 1982. In 1983 Stan Graduated from NMVTI with an associate degree in Diesel Hydraulics, but for the last several years he was employed by a local lumber mill. Stanley took pride in giving back to his community, he was an EMT in Ashland for 26 years, served as the secretary of the Maine State Federation of Firefighters for 23 years, and was a member and president of the Aroostook Valley Health Center. When Stanley wasn’t taking care of others he enjoyed spending time with his beautiful family at their camp on St. Froid, out on the water boating, and taking in the incredible Aroostook County sunsets.


Stanley is survived by his fiancé, Heidi Bradstreet, his children, Joshua Saucier and Matthew Saucier and his wife Kelly, and his bonus son, Reid Bradstreet. His siblings, Gregory Saucier and wife Collette, Jeffrey Saucier and wife Vickie, Michael Saucier and wife Kelly, Marie Fennell and husband Chris, Carrie Lorenzo and husband Louis, Todd Saucier and wife Danielle, Bruce Saucier and wife Heidi, Rachel Parent and husband Richard, and Margaret Rutherford. He will be missed by his grandchildren Caden and Maliyah Saucier, and Danika Bradstreet, along with several special nieces and nephews.


Friends and relatives are invited to call 9AM to 11AM Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Saint Mark’s Catholic Church 13 Allen Farm Rd, Ashland, ME 04732, where a mass of Christian burial will then be conducted at 11AM. A committal will take place immediately following the service at Saint Mark’s Catholic Cemetery. The family extends an invitation to a reception following the interment at the Saint Mark’s Hospitality Room. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to C-A-N-C-E-R P.O.
