Kathryn Louise Lattimer Obituary

Kathryn Louise Lattimer, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2023, in her hometown of Warren, Ohio. Born in Warren on April 14, 1954, she was the daughter of Ambrose and Kathryn Winner Hinzy.


Kathryn is survived by her five children, Eric Thorp of Warren, Angela Lenart of East Palestine, Terry Lattimer of Newton Falls, Jamee Dohse of Warren, and Briana Lattimer of Warren. She was a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren, Desarae Halishak (spouse, Daniel Halishak), Matthew (Melanie Reibestein) Scott, Chyanne (Brian) Mease, Zachery Thorp, Leyla Dohse, Sean Lamp, Donovan Lattimer, Cambria Lattimer, JT Button, Brooklyn Lattimer, Aishlinn James, and Novalie Adams. Kathryn also had the joy of being a great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren, Miles, Elijah, Kirsty, Remi, Matthew Jr., and Elliana.


In addition to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Kathryn is survived by her siblings, Alice Kirk of West Virginia, Bernice Reynolds of North Bloomfield, Mary Richards of Warren, and John Hinzy of Johnston. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ambrose and Kathryn Hinzy; three sisters, Juanita Scholten, Linda Nicholson, and Betty Hinzy; and five brothers, George, Homer, Robert, Terry, and Bert Hinzy.


Kathryn was a woman of many interests, including gardening, crafting, spending time with her family, and listening to music.


A Celebration of Life Party will be Friday, June 23, 2023 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at The Old Firehouse Community Center, 1864 Greenville Rd NW, Bristolville, OH 44402.
