Jason Michael Rebok Obituary

The sudden loss of Jason Michael Rebok on May 30, 2023, at the age of 44 years young has left us heartbroken. Jason was a selfless, remarkable human being, who lived each day of his life to the fullest; serving others with his God-given gifts. His kindness, generosity, and compassion were evident in all that he did. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved with all of his heart!

Jason was born on November 14, 1978, and raised in the Greencastle, PA area by his loving mother, Jacqueline Sanders, and his proud father, Michael Rebok, who passed away last October.

Jason graduated from Greencastle Antrim High School in 1997, and later attended college while working as a waiter at Tony’s Pizza in Hagerstown, MD where he met the love of his life and soulmate, Jennifer (Hanna) Rebok. Jason and Jenn moved to the picturesque Eastern Shore of Maryland in 2000. They were married on the beach in 2003, and their love grew stronger daily. Jason showered Jenn with love and affection until his last day. They were blessed with two sweet, precious boys, Jaeden Rebok (19) and Jacob Rebok (9). Their cherished family home of 18 years is in the small, rural town of Hebron, Maryland.

In 2009, Jason started working in the demolition industry, which quickly became his passion. He worked in business development for Jackson Demolition Service for the past 8 years, where so many of his beloved co-workers, especially Sandy and Katie, felt like family to him.

Jason was a very active and playful parent. His boys were his world. He could often be found playing with his sons, whether it was with legos, cards, games, or sports. He was a true kid at heart. Most recently he and his son, Jacob, developed a love for soccer together. Jason was a very proud coach at the Upward Soccer Program, which was one of the most rewarding experiences of his life. Jason loved the beach and being outdoors. He enjoyed playing sports and was always up for a game of wiffle ball.

Jason was a faithful follower of Christ and started each day in prayer. He was a member of both Cross Pointe Church and St. Francis de Sales in Salisbury. He helped lead the children’s ministries at Cross Pointe, where the children enjoyed his young spirit. He recently became a member of the Knights of Columbus and was looking forward to all the volunteer opportunities it would bring to his life.

Music was always a big part of Jason’s life. He played drums, guitar, and had the MOST beautiful, soulful singing voice. He loved playing music with his sons and jammin’ with his old bandmates and dear friends, John, Roger, and Eric.

Jason was devoted to his family and was loved deeply by all of them. Jason was a dedicated son to his beloved mother, Jacqueline Sanders, and took care of anything she needed. Uncle Jason was lovingly referred to as “U.J.” by his nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, sons, and mother, Jason is survived by his sister, Jackie Rebok and husband, Joe Sanchez, uncle, Dennis Rebok and wife, Debbie Rebok, uncle, Larry Rebok and wife, Gail Rebok, uncle, Bernard Sanders, father-in-law, David Hanna, mother-in-law, Margie Wolverton, father-in-law, Paul Wolverton, sister-in-law, Beth Hanna, brother-in-law, David Hanna II and wife, Stephanie Hanna, goddaughter, Ruby Debaca, and his treasured nieces and nephews, Lily Sanchez, Leah Hanna, Elijah Hanna, Simon Hanna, Asher Hanna, and Eden Hanna.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Cross Pointe Church in Salisbury, MD on Saturday, June 3nd. There will be a family visitation at 10:00 AM with the service starting at 11:00 AM with refreshments to follow. Please feel free to bring a dessert or other dish to share.

There will also be a Memorial Mass held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury, Maryland on June 8th at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is gratefully accepting donations at Hebron Savings Bank to continue Jacob Rebok’s Catholic school education, which has been so important to Jason. Donations may be made to “For the benefit of Jacob Rebok'' and mailed to Hebron Savings Bank, 543C Riverside Drive, Salisbury, MD 21801.
