Mrs. Michelle “Shelly” Day of Spaniard’s Bay, passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Mrs. Day was 52 years old.


She leaves to mourn her loving family:

Faithful Husband: Edmund Day

Children: Tolby (Brittany), Tori (Alex) & Tawni

Four wonderful grandsons:

Clark (nans boy forever and ever he’s my first and he knows it ),

Dallas (nans baby he’s some good boy),

Emerson (your a hard case I think you needs get bath) &

Rhett: nans littlest baby (always full of smiles)

Parents: Wallace & Mary Clarke

Sister: Julie (Reilly)

Brother: Barry (Marilyn)

Nieces & Nephews: Kaeleigh, Kayla, Jamie, Kallan, Jordan, Kendall & Matthew

Mother-in-law: Rosalie Day

Brothers-in-law: Junior (Katherine) & Robert (Guia)

Special Brother-in-law: Gary (Cheryl)

Special Friends: Sandra Dawe, Pam Lush, Doris Fitzgerald & Lisa Slade


And a circle of special nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, 488 Conception Bay Highway, Spaniard’s Bay on Friday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. & Saturday: 10:30-11:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Michelle “Shelly” Day Memorial Fund. Email transfers can be sent to sladesfuneralhomenl@gmail.com, password: shelly. Please include a note stating what or whom the donation is for.


The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 2 P.M. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Bay Roberts.
