<p>Gaffney -- Benjamin Howard Crowe, 62, of 301 Overhill Dr Lot 10, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023, at his home.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Gaffney, SC, he was the husband of Helen Mayfield Crowe and the son of Sue Brown Crowe and the late Samuel Crowe.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three daughters, Brandy Fortner and husband, Daniel, Ashley McAbee and husband, Brad, and Dana Matson and husband, Adrien; nine grandchildren, Nickole Bevis (Michael), Kayla Fortner, Aleigha McAbee, Layne McAbee, Hailey McAbee, Kayden Matson, Kallie Matson, Karter Matson, and Kenzly Matson; one brother, six sisters, and a sister-in-law that was more like a sister, Hazel Huskey.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, and one sister.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney Chapel with Rev.
