Myrtle Mae Knapp

Myrtle Mae Knapp, age 85 of Mt. Healthy, Ohio passed away peacefully Saturday, May 27, 2023, surrounded by her family. Myrtle was born in Sumter, South Carolina on October 09, 1937, the daughter of Homer Monroe and Bertha Lee (Landreth) Mullen. Myrtle worked for the Avon Company, and was a top salesperson for the company. She loved working on puzzle books, and loved to read a good mystery. She was also active in the Mt. Healthy chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
 

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carvel Knapp in 2005, and her siblings Homer "Bill" Mullen Jr., Frances "Betty" Commons, and Lorena "Renee" Fulkerson. Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters Bonnie (John) Hamilton and Melanie (Joe) Rook; grandchildren Joe (Melissa) Canney, Beth (John) Pelletier, and John IV (Sara) Hamilton; great-grandchildren Addison Canney, Emerson Canney, Ellody Canney, Annabelle Canney, Sullivan Canney, Elliott Hamilton, and Emilia Hamilton; as well as many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 05, 2023 from 12 Noon until time of service at 1:30 PM, all at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave, Mt. Healthy 45231. Interment will immediately follow services in Arlington Memorial Gardens
