<p>Debra "Debbie" Ann Gonzalez, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. </p><p>Debbie was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 27, 1957 to Benny and Georgetta Blankenship.&nbsp; Debbie was fun.&nbsp; She loved dancing and when she was younger went out every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.&nbsp; She enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. Debbie was an amazing person.&nbsp; Her heart had infinite love to give, she considered her best friend's kids her own, and her grandchildren, also her own grandchildren.&nbsp; She would move heaven and earth for her loved ones, and stand in to be what they needed; be that a father figure, confidant, cheerleader, or kick in the pants, Debbie was there for you.&nbsp; She always went to bat for her loved ones, even if it put her in harms way.&nbsp; Debbie was so strong, a true Superwoman, who endured so much and still came out loving and compassionate.&nbsp; She was sweet but sassy, and she will be greatly missed. </p><p>Debbie is survived by her granddaughter Tara (David Hughes) Johnson; her great-granddaughter Chloe James: her lifelong best friends Carol Arriaga Penaloza and Joann Huerta; bonus son John; bonus grandchildren Juanita, AJ, and Ana; her nephew Benji; and several great-nieces and nephews; and too many bonus great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren to name. </p><p>Debbie is preceded in passing by her sons Wayne Stephey and James Blankenship; her parents Benny and Georgetta Blankenship; and her sister Portia. </p><p>Services for Debbie will be 6 PM, Friday, June 2, 2023 at Fountain Square Cremation &amp; Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 2 PM until the hour of service. </p>

Debra "Debbie" Ann Gonzalez, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
