Jayda Symonne Moore Obituary

Jayda Symonne Moore was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 24, 1998 to Frederick M. Moore, Jr. and Kimkeisha R. Dowell. Jayda attended church regularly in her younger years and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2010.

Jayda graduated from the Cincinnati Job Corps Center on October 26, 2016. She pursued a career in childcare and was very good with children, desiring to make a difference in their lives.

Jayda loved her family and friends. Going to Coney Island was one of her favorite things to do. She enjoyed spending time outdoors with her daughter, A’Zariah at the zoo, the Banks and going to the park. Jayda was so funny and always knew how to make others laugh. Her favorite phrase was “That’s hilarious!” Her beautiful smile and twinkling eyes brought a smile to many faces. Jayda will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. We will all hold her love and joy in our hearts forever.

She unexpectedly left this life on May 27, 2023. Jayda was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Frederick and Rose Moore, Sr.; her great-aunts, Deborah Boyd and Stephanie Dowell Johnson; and her great-uncle, Calvester Coleman.

Jayda leaves to cherish her loving memory: her daughter, A’Zariah Elizabeth Renee Smith; her parents, Kimkeisha Dowell and Fred Moore; seven siblings: her two sisters, Airyes (Rashad) Taylor-Kyte and Nova Moore; five brothers, Joshua Dowell, Jorden Dowell, Brandon Harper, Airiaun Taylor and Mahlon Harris. She will also be fondly remembered and loved by: her grandparents, Alexander and Elizabeth Swain; two uncles, Alexander (Kimberly) Dowell and Jeffrey (Tisa Weaver) Moore; three aunts, Keturah Dowell, Dianne Moore-Summerlin and Christine (Dwayne) Shearer; her great-grandmothers, Curlie Williamson and Anna Coleman Swain; along with a host of great aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
