Roberta “Robbie” Amos, our loving mom, grandma and sister passed away on May 28, 2023 at the age of 66 after a hard-fought battle with several illnesses. She was a lifelong resident of Canton and more recently lived in the Toledo area.

Born on February 25, 1957, Robbie was the daughter of the late Norma and Robert Arick.

Robbie retired from The Timken Company in 2021 after 46 years of dedicated service. Upon her retirement, Robbie was a full-time mom and grandma whose loving support and guidance left an indelible footprint on the lives of all of her family members.

Robbie is survived by a loving family including three children: Ryan Amos of Chicago, Renee Yglesias of Toledo and Kyle (Julie Burns) Amos of Solon; three grandchildren: Alaina and Evan Yglesias of Toledo and Brendan Amos of Solon and a brother: Bob (Tammy) Arick of Sugarcreek and their son, James.

No formal services are planned, but a celebration of life ceremony will be held for family members and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Robbie’s name. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home in Waterville, Ohio.
