<p>Henry Joseph Condon, age 99 of Howell, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 16, 1923 to parents, Henry &amp; Mabel (Geoffrion) Condon. Henry served his country in the Army during World War II where he received a Purple Heart for his courageous actions. On October 4, 1947 in Perrysburg, Ohio, he married Rosemary Ruth Schnapp and shared 65 wonderful years together before her passing in 2013.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Formerly of Livonia, Henry had been a resident of Howell for the past few decades. He started attending St. Joseph's Catholic Church in the late 1980's and has been a devout parishioner ever since. Henry's Catholic faith and parish meant a great deal to him. He was very passionate about Catholic education and making sure it was easily accessible to everyone. Henry loved to spend his time outdoors whether it was in his garden or out on the golf course. He was also an avid fisher. Henry was always known as a sociable guy and made everyone feel at home when they were with him.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Henry was a loving father to Cynthia (Roland) David, Marybeth Zalenski, &amp; Timothy (Dawn) Condon. Also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Mass of the Resurrection for Henry will be held at 10:30AM on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 E. Washington St., Howell, with an hour of visitation beginning at 9:30AM. All are welcome to attend.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial Contributions can be made in Henry's honor to further Catholic education to the Father Rahrig Tuition Assistance Program.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Memories and online condolences can be shared at www.WatkinsFuneralHomes.com.</p>
