Philip Wayne Kennedy was born August 19, 1942 in Appleton, Wisconsin, the son of Wayne and Gertrude Kennedy. He was raised on the family dairy farm in Wisconsin. Philip married Mary Ella Guild June 14, 1968 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they had six children and sixteen grandchildren. Their life took them on many adventures including: Alaska, Utah, Wisconsin, Idaho, Washington and Wyoming. He passed away May 29, 2023 at Family Tree Assisted Living in Morgan, Utah.
Survivors are his wife Mary Ella; children, Ellen, Nathan, Susan, Sarah Jean, Alan Kennedy and their spouses. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randon and brother, Richard.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 5, 2023 at the Elm Street Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 251 Elm Street in Evanston. Viewing will be Sunday, June 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Crandall Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church. In lieu of flowers please consider contributions in Philip’s memory to the American Cancer Society- Hope Lodge- Salt Lake City, Primary Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.
