Carol Ann Moyes

Carol Ann Bardsley Moyes, 76, of Springville Utah, passed away Sunday May 28, 2023. She was born July 31st, 1946, in Gunnison, Utah, to Maylin Virgil Bardsley and Eunice Elizabeth Deakin. She married Phillip Monroe Moyes on August 1, 1975, in the Provo, Utah Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Carol served in the Cumorah mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in 1973 majoring in family economics and home management, with a minor in clothing and textiles. She loved the mountains, a good book, a cold Coke, family history, antiques, her boy’s various activities, making new friends and the simple and beautiful things of life. Above all, she loved the gospel of Jesus Christ, and she loved her family considering them to be her greatest life’s work. 

Carol is survived by her loving husband Phillip Moyes of Springville, Utah; her five Sons: Aaron (Natalie) Moyes of Lehi, Utah; James (Jaimie) Moyes of Lehi, Utah; Mark (Tara) Moyes of Bluffdale, Utah; Stephen (Heidi) Moyes of Cottonwood Heights, Utah; and John Moyes of Springville, Utah and two siblings: Charles Bardsley, Price, Utah and Mary (Brent) Pitcher, Saratoga Springs, Utah. 

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 2, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Springville 8th Ward Chapel located at 355 East Center Street, Springville, Utah. A viewing for friends and family will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary located at 211 East 200 South in Springville, and on Friday just prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment l will be in the Springville City Cemetery.
