Joseph A. Loranger, Jr. Obituary

Joseph “Art” Loranger - dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend - passed away on May 29, 2023.

Born to Arthur and Aurise (Pelletier) Loranger in Biddeford, ME on August 12, 1942. Art met his wife, Linda in 1975 and the two were together for over 41 years until she passed away in 2016. He was a talented mold maker for over 45 years retiring from Flex, LTD in 2020.

Art loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed his annual vacations to Fort Kent, ME and camping trips to Lake George, NY.

He loved any and all vehicles, cars, trucks, ATVs, and especially motorcycles. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed his many rides throughout the country with friends. He was particularly fond of rides to Niantic Beach and along Route 85.

He was a parishioner of The Church of the Living God and spoke fondly of Pastor Dave. He loved to read the Bible and had a strong faith in God.

Art is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lena and Jason Maheu of Wethersfield, CT; son and daughter-in-law Randy and Sarah Emond of Naples, NY; his seven adoring grandchildren, Jessica and Jacob Maheu; Jenna, Julia, and Isaac Emond; Kaylee McCarthy, and Breanne Casey, his two great granddaughters Alani and Alasia Richards, great grandson Dexter Casey, nephews John, Michael & Jeff Underwood, and numerous friends. In addition to his wife Linda, he was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Aurise Loranger, sister Pauline Underwood and nephew Rodney Underwood. Ride on Dad - you are deeply missed.
