Jones, Maureen Suzanne, 85, passed away Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.

Maureen was a true matriarch and devoted herself to raising and caring for her family.

Preceding her in death are her parents Dennis and Gertrude Whalen; her 1st husband, Richard B. Albers; 2nd husband, Owen Jones Sr.; daughter, Laura Lynn Albers; infant grandson, Matthew; and siblings, Dennis Whalen Jr., and Jimmy Whalen.

She is survived by her children, Richard Albers Jr. (Jackie), Michael Albers, Lisa Kirby, Amy Albers-Laney (Markus), Owen Jones Jr., and Timothy Ryan Jones; grandchildren, Ashley (Lee), Lindsey (Cory), Rachel (James), Hunter, Haley, Jackson, Payton, Brynn, Hudson, Braden, Allee, Kaitlyn, and Jake; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Noble; and brother, Richard Whalen (Joyce).

Maureen’s funeral ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 1st, at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Dr.

Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. prior to service at Rattermans.

Burial of her ashes will be held in Calvary Cemetery.
