Sandra Kaye Weatherbee passed away on Monday, May 30, 2023, in her daughter’s home in New London at the age of 75.

She was born on June 17, 1947, to parents Thomas & Genevieve (McQuown) Harris in Galena, Ohio and attended Danville High School with the class of 1965. Sandy married Donald D. Weatherbee on March 30, 1974, and the pair were married for 47 years until his passing in September of 2021.

Sandy worked in the housekeeping department of Colonial Manor Health Care Center for 23 years until retiring in 2012.

She was a member of the Trinity Community Church in Loudonville and enjoyed spending time with her family. A few of Sandy’s favorites things were jig-saw puzzles, playing Yahtzee, and frozen Pepsi’s.

She is survived by her children Camie (Purdy) & John Temple, Carrie (Purdy) Hilton, Barbara (Weatherbee) Fowler, Suzella Weatherbee, Elizabeth (Weatherbee) & George Williams, and Jenny (Weatherbee) & David Paramore; her grandchildren Tara, Thomas, Jessica, Allison, Richard, Savannah, Ronald, Ellen, Derek, Kastari, Makayla, Corbin, Wyatt, and Quinn; and her 21 great grandchildren; and her siblings Tom Harris and Jon Harris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Donald Weatherbee; and her siblings Harvey Harris, Carol Dotson, Jack Harris, and Mike Harris.

Sandy’s family will receive friends Monday, June 5, 2023, from 12 to 2 p.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home- Lindsey Chapel, Loudonville, with a funeral service immediately at 2 p.m. Pastor John Temple will officiate and burial will follow in Ashland Memorial Gardens.
