Mary Lynn Heikkinen - Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Graduated from Henry Ford High School and Central Michigan University. Worked in the insurance industry for 40 years. Retired in 2019. Preceded in death by parents Carl and Wilma Heikkinen, brothers Roger and Dale Heikkinen and niece Carla Heikkinen. Survived by brother Jon Heikkinen (Lois) along with nieces and nephews, Alana Gabriel, Roger Heikkinen Jr, Jacob Heikkinen (Jackie) and Jaclyn Heikkinen. Four great nieces and nephews - Hannah and Joey Gabriel, Willa and Naomi Heikkinen. Sisters-in-law Judy and Kathy Heikkinen. Donations can be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Parkinson Foundation (links can be found below). Visitation will be held at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Farmington, Michigan on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 2:00-7:00pm with a funeral service beginning at 6:30pm. Interment to be held at Glen Eden Memorial Cemetery on Friday, June 2 at 11:00am in Livonia, Michigan.
