Edna Francis House
<p>Ms. Edna Francis (Cook) House, age 79, of Villa Rica passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023. She was born in Anniston, Alabama on Tuesday, October 26, 1943. Ms. House was the daughter of the late, Waymon Cook and the late, Jackie Mae (Kilgore) Cook. In addition to her parents, Ms. House is preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Cook and Jimmy Cook. </p><p>Ms. House was a Manager for Mary’s Flowers Florist in Dallas for many years. She enjoyed working in her garden and playing bingo. Above all, Edna loved her family, and she will be dearly missed. </p><p>Survivors include her sons, Robert House, Jr. and his fiancée, Joyce Gunther of Villa Rica, Stephen House of Cartersville, and Chris House of Villa Rica; and by her brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Johnnie Cook of Rockmart. Ms. House is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives. </p><p>In accordance with Ms. House’s wishes, she will be cremated. </p><p>The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. </p><p>Messages of condolence can be made to the family by signing the online Tribute Wall at www.croftfuneralhome.com . </p><p>Cremation services are being provided by Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Temple. </p>Obituary
