<p>Mary Esther Rutledge, a White Plains resident, died on May 30, 2023 at the age of 86. She was born in White Plains to the late Carmine and Lillian Arone.</p><p><br></p><p>On January 15, 1956 she married Thomas (Dick) Rutledge. He predeceases her.</p><p><br></p><p>Mary was a member of the Woman’s Club of White Plains. She also loved cooking, knitting and taking care of others.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her children; Edward Rutledge of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mark and Ann Rutledge of Ocean Isle, NC, Kim and Vincent Cioce of Brewster, NY and Barry and Monique Rutledge of Valhalla, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Ryan Cioce, Brandon Cioce, Colby Rutledge, Cameron Cioce, Vaughn Rutledge, Quinn Rutlege, Kennedy Rutledge and Monica Romano and her great grandchildren; Cianna Cioce, Hunter and Everly Cioce and Alexandria and Tyler Romano. She is predeceased by&nbsp;her sister Tina Tappen</p><p><br></p><p>“Mary was a generous and compassionate person, who opened her heart and home to all she encountered.”</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Feeding Westchester Food Bank.</p>
