Lois K. Coleman
<p>Lois K. (Dailey) Coleman, age 86, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Coleman. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mildred (Sweeny) Dailey.</p><p><br></p><p>Lois loved playing Bingo and taking trips to the casino to play the slots. She enjoyed watching her son Kevin, an artist, create new paintings. However, her greatest joy was found in raising her 6 children.</p><p><br></p><p>Lois was the loving mother of Kevin “Freck” Coleman, Stephen Coleman (Jonni), James Coleman (Doreen Buck) and the late John Coleman, Daniel Coleman and Mary VanGyzen; grandmother of Nicole, John, Stephen, Nicholas, Ashley, Brandon, Quinn, Jim and Shannon; great-grandmother to many. She was the sister of Eddie Dailey, Duke Dailey, Diane Dailey and Linda Contagno.</p><p><br></p><p>A visitation will be held Monday, June 5, 2023 from 10AM-12PM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. A funeral ceremony will follow at 12PM. Her burial will be in RI Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
