Aaron D. Foster Obituary

A Life Well Lived…..

Aaron Dante Foster, age 29, the son of Saunsiree S. Foster and Keith Holloway, departed this life on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 10:06pm. He was born on Tuesday, October 26, 1993 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received his formal education in Philadelphia, PA and Raeford, NC, attending Andrew Hamilton, St. Ignatius Catholic School, New Life Christian Academy & Preparatory School, and University City High School.

Aaron worked at J&B Construction and G&G as a Carpenter. He also worked in the transportation logistics and automotive industries as a Car Transporter and Car Detailer.

A man of courage who feared nothing, he found joy in taking apart brand-new electronics, rebuilding them to his liking, detailing cars, carpentry, and caring for dogs. Aaron was able to convince his mother to allow dogs in the house, after greeting her with a new dog who was only “visiting” for a few days. That visit turned into a permanent home for Aaron’s blue nose Pitbull son, Zeus. Aaron was also an amazing cook, often whipping up delicious chicken and steak meals for the house.

Often quiet, Aaron was smooth like the waves in his head!!! He was a gentleman and made sure the ladies ate well when they came to visit. He was well known wherever he went and was bound to befriend everyone. When asked how he knew all these people, he would say, I know them from around the way!

Throughout his life, Aaron was determined to learn how to do things that could seem complex to many. That determination led to Aaron teaching himself how to ride a motorcycle. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle both day and night.

Some of his favorite things included eating cereal (Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruity Pebbles), playing Crash Bandicoot, Tomb Raider, on PlayStation, and watching classic movies such How High, Toy Story, Crooklyn and Fast and Furious. Aaron loved fast cars, specifically, Dodge Chargers and Chrysler 300s. He had a special relationship with his mother’s Toyota Camry’s (if you know… you know....). He was also an avid music lover, often blasting NeYo and other songs throughout the house.

Aaron took pride living life on his own terms and doing exactly what he wanted to do. He would often remind you of just that. He loved being around his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Rebecca Holloway, and maternal grandmother, Katherine Void.

Aaron’s life will forever be cherished by his: mother, Saunsiree “Story” Butler (Lenny); father, Keith Holloway; beloved blue nose Pitbull son, Zeus; sisters, Mureesha Blackmon, Nadirah Holloway, and Ashley Drummond; brother, Basil Holloway; grandmother, Valerie Foster; grandfather, Ronald Williams; great-grandmother, Hattie Mae Foster; aunt, Sheree Foster; uncle, Robert Bruce Hill, Jr.; mentor and father-figure, Jerry Blackmon; and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, step-sisters, and friends.
