Mrs. Mary Sheila Evans Hewett, age 60, passed away on May 30, 2023. Mrs. Hewett was born on November 27, 1962 in LaGrange to the late Robert Evans and Mary Dunlap Evans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sibling, Robin Allen Evans.

Survivors include her son, Jeremy Hewett and his wife, Katie; brothers, Robert Jeff Evans, Jerry Evans and Tense Evans; sister, Linda Evans; grandchildren, Elizabeth Grave “Ellie” Hewett, Alysa Kali Hewett and Ariana Rose Hewett; extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel. Family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 pm until service hour.
