Elmer Leroy Bowman, 78, of Faison passed away Tuesday morning, May 30, 2023 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Bowman was born in Pennsylvania on April 2, 1945 to the late Charles Maxwell Bowman and Catherine Craley Bowman.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda K. Bowman; two stepsons; three stepdaughters; one sister, Ethel Gladys Tate of Florida; four step-grandchildren; two step-greatgrandchildren and his beloved cats, Miss Kitty and Peaches and dogs, Chloe and Otis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
