Donna Jeane (Owens) Adam, 74, of Tulsa, OK formerly of Longview, TX & Dallas, TX peacefully went to be with Jesus on Monday, May 29, 2023, at Porta Caeli Hospice House in Tulsa.

She was born September 12, 1948, in Dallas, Texas, to BD “Pete” Owens and Opal (Spradlin) Owens.  She was married to Harold William Adam, who preceded her in death on July 6, 2021.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Joshua Aaron Sternberg on July 29, 2020.  She was a retired registered nurse and a woman that loved Jesus with all of her heart!  Attending church and worshiping the Lord was her favorite thing to do besides spending time with her friends and family!  Through the years she made many lifelong friends at Grace Fellowship and Church on the Move!  Taking care of all of her wonderful dogs (Angel & Lexie most recently) through the years brought her so much joy as did sewing things to sell at craft shows or to bless others with.   She fought a long, hard 14 year battle with Cancer while being Stage IV for over 10 of those years.  She witnessed many miracles during that time and showed so many what it means to fight the good fight of faith and to keep trusting God through it all.

Donna is survived by a two stepsons, Joshua Adam and Shawn Adam of Broken Arrow, OK; and a stepdaughter, Miranda Adam of Holdenville, OK, a brother, Kenny Owens of Houston, TX and a sister Debbie Nusbaum of Krum, TX;  and grandchildren, Madison & Taylor Adam; Isabella, Lorelei & Malachi Adam; Kaylie, Mattilyn & Marilynn Adam; Savannah, Sadie, Samuel & Sophie Warren; and Lauren, Josh, Caleb & Braydon LeClaire along with Riley High, great grandson.

Donna’s precious heart for the Lord touched the lives of so many people throughout her life.  She was loved deeply and we know that she will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. We are eternally thankful that she now has her heavenly body and has been reunited with her love, Harold, her son, Josh, her parents, family and friends that went before her, but most importantly JESUS!
