<p>Woonsocket - Robert J. Burns, 72, passed away at home on Sunday, May 28, 2023. </p><p>Born in Providence, son of the late Alfred J. Burns Sr. and Margaret Mary (Hayes) Burns. </p><p>Robert worked as a Supervisor for JG Associates for several years prior to retiring. </p><p>He enjoyed watching NASCAR, occasional trips to the casino, spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed helping everyone. </p><p>He is survived by one son, Eric Gauthier of Woonsocket. One brother, Alfred J. Burns Jr. of Burrillville. Two grandchildren, Braydon Gauthier and Brianna Ryan. </p><p>He was also the brother-in-law of the late Louise Burns. </p><p>A Funeral Home Service will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 4:30 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 3-4:30 PM. Burial will be on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 11:30 AM in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston, RI. </p>Obituary
