<p>Marion J. (Crompton) Therrien, 89, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023 at home. She was the wife of the late Paul J.O. Therrien. Born in East Greenwich, she was a daughter of the late Llyod W. and Beatrice (Crompton) Crompton.</p><p><br></p><p>Marion was the beloved mother of Katherine J Gifford (Douglas), Thomas P. Therrien, Robert R. Therrien (Lisa), Steven R. Therrien (Donna), and Elizabeth A. Gordon; loving grandmother of Steven, Jessica, Sean, Bonnie, Bethany, Mindy, Taylor, Amy, Jennifer, and Heather; loving great-grandmother Aaron, Kodi, Brendan, Coryn, Alexis, Kellan, Jackson, Luke, Connor, Owen, Talia, Madeline, Aspen, and Harmon; she was the sister of Robert Crompton and the late Llyod Crompton, Myrna Pepin, Ronald Crompton, and Linda Cavaco; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Marion worked for the City of Warwick as a Regional Director of Libraries and then as a Clerk in the planning department before her retirement.</p><p><br></p><p>Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 11:00AM in St. Clement Church, Long St., Warwick. Her burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Legion, Williams Shields Post 43 Auxiliary Scholarship Fund, 662 West Shore Rd., Warwick, would be appreciated.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
