<p>Patricia A. Castellani, age 84, passed away peacefully at Allied Services Hospice Center. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Robert. Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Magdalene Piccoli and Ambrose Langan. Patricia graduated from Scranton Tech High School. After devoting some of her happiest years to her children as a stay at home mom, she extended her dedication working as a skilled bookkeeper for various businesses until her retirement at the remarkable age of 80.</p><p>Patricia was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her beautiful smile was a reflection of her altruistic nature that touched so many lives. She was known for her phenomenal cooking and baking skills. Her home was always open, welcoming family and friends for a delicious meal. Sundays were a special day for the family, as she could typically be found in the kitchen surrounded by her kids and grandkids cooking homemade Italian meals.</p><p> In addition to her devotion to family, Patricia took immense pride in her five grandsons and all of their accomplishments. She was their biggest fan, whether attending an academic ceremony, a championship baseball game or swim meet, “G-ma or Grandmom Pat” was beaming with pride and offering her unwavering support. Patricia's love and belief in her children and grandsons will forever be cherished.</p><p>Patricia is survived by her sons: Robert "Butch" and wife Gayle, Mark, Jeff "Chip," and her daughter Kristen Walter and husband Ron. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandsons Vincent and wife Rachel, Tony and fiancé Darian, Joseph, Andrew and Matthew Walter, brother-in-law Ray Castellani and wife Santina, sister-in-law Diane Sheposh and husband Ronny, and brother-in-law Leonard Kanavy. Patricia was preceded in death by her sister Mary Kanavy.</p><p>The funeral will be conducted on Saturday from the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 1101 Willow St., Peckville. All attending the Mass are kindly asked to proceed directly to church. Interment to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Jessup. Friends and family may pay their respects Friday from 5-7 pm in the funeral home.</p><p> In memory of Patricia, memorial contributions may be made to Nemours Children's Hospital, 1600 Rockland Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803, or through their website at www.nemours.org.</p><p><br></p>
