Donald R. Fagundes Jr., age 58, of Warwick, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023, in Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of the late Donald and Lillian (Hudson) Fagundes Sr.

A graduate of Pilgrim High School, Donald went onto a career as a Cement Truck Driver with Heritage Concrete, whom he worked with for many years.

A handy man, he could fix anything but especially enjoyed working on trucks and cars. He enjoyed being by the water with his son, fishing and race boats. Donald had a strong connection with nature and wildlife, spending much of his time caring for and feeding the animals around him.

He is survived by his son, Tyler Fagundes of Bristol; sister, Sherry Jencks and her Husband Thomas of Warwick; cherished partner, Frances Comeau; nephew, Thomas Jencks III; nieces, Kerri Jencks, Melissa Denton, and Chance Fagundes; four great-nieces; and two great-nephews. He was the brother of the late Leon Fagundes.

Donald’s Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 10:00AM in the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 4:00PM-7:00PM. Burial to take place immediately following the Funeral Service in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, 100 Harrison Ave, Warwick.
