Joseph John Moran, 56, passed away May 25, 2023, at his home in Houlton. He was born March 4, 1967, in Houlton, the son of Linda Moran and Tim Raymond.

Joseph is survived by his son, Cody Moran and his spouse, Emily Norton; daughter, Samantha Jo Moran and her spouse, Brett Ward; special granddaughters, Aubrey, Amelia, and Brynnlee; brother, Brian Raymond and his wife, Tanya; father, Timothy Raymond; nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Cheyenne, and Nick; former spouse, Heidi Lake; four great-nephews, and many, many friends.

He was predeceased by his mother, Linda Moran Raymond; and his grandparents, Percy and Gertrude (Moulton) Moran.

Joseph was a proud member of the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians. He will be remembered for his love of 80’s music and swimming, there wasn’t a rock or ledge too high for Joe to dive off. His biggest love was his family, especially his grandchildren.

A Celebration of Joseph’s life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the HBMI Gymnasium, 576 Foxcroft Rd. Houlton. Condolences to the family may be expressed at DunnFuneral.com
