Debra Coleman Hart (Lalo), 57, of Petersburg, Virginia passed away on May 25, 2023, at Southside Medical Center in Petersburg, Virginia.

Debra was born April 3, 1966, in Stuttgart Germany, the daughter of John A. and Heidi R. Coleman. Debra graduated from Wurzburg American High School in Wurzburg Germany, Class of 1984. Debra’s work family was at the Richmond Metropolitan Transit Authority where she has been employed for 34 years. Debra enjoyed reading, playing video games online with her friends and spending time with her family.

Debra was preceded in death by her Mother, Heidi R. Coleman and nephew Kijon Coleman.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, John A. Coleman Sr. of Petersburg VA.; brothers, Michael L. Coleman Sr. (Linda), and John A. Coleman Jr.; nephews, Michael L. Coleman Jr. and Nicholas A. Coleman; niece, Jonniece Coleman; aunts, uncles and a host of cousins and her best friend of over 30 years Valerie Cooper.

A service of her remembrance will be held Friday, 5 PM, at the Chapel of Bland Funeral Home,137 Harrison St., Petersburg, VA 23803, Rev. Robert L. Graves, Sr., eulogist. The family will assemble at 4:30 P.M. at the chapel on day of service.
