Brian Lewis Sorenson

<p>Brian Lewis Sorenson, 54, passed away suddenly, Sunday, May 28, 2023. </p><p>He was born December 16, 1968 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lana (Gregory) Hoskinson. Brian was a former concrete mixer driver for IMI Concrete and Ernst Concrete. Currently he worked in maintenance at Novalex in Seymour, In. &nbsp;He also was a member of Teamsters Local 89. He enjoyed dirt bikes so much he built a motocross track in his back yard; Brian also enjoyed tinkering with things to build or fix. His grandchildren were the light of Brian’s life; he enjoyed spending time with them and spoiling them. He loved his family very much. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. </p><p>Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Amy J. Sorenson; daughter, Lana N. Sorenson; two step-sons, Bradley C. Miller (Anastasia) and Blake A. Miller; Dad, Maurice A. Hoskinson; eight siblings, Greg E. Sorenson (Tracy), Laura L. Hardin, Scott Sorenson (Angie), Sharon Smith (Mike), Rena Mervis (Stu), Carol Wathen (Joe), Toni McMahan (Jeff), and Johnny Hoskinson (Daune); his mother in law, Cheryl G. Eldridge; and the two lights of his life his grandchildren, Adrian M. B. Miller and Tatiana J. R. Miller. </p><p>Visitation will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, In. Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Sellersburg Cemetery, Sellersburg, In. &nbsp; </p>
