SANDOS, James Phillip

June 7, 1958 - May 19, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. James “Jim” passed away at home in Newmarket on May 19, 2023 in his 64th year. Jim was a devoted husband of Kateryna Zakusylo-Sandos. Proud and beloved father of Ryan (Erin), Travis (Brianna), Justin, and loving step father to Bogdan. Brother of Valerie Sandos, Lynn Sandos-Brown (Dave) and Carol Hinton (John). Grandfather of Beatrice, Genevieve and Ava. Uncle of Michael and Blaire Hinton, Jordan and Mitchell Brown. Jim was born in North Bay, Ontario, son of the late Katharyn Irene Sandos (Kreager) and Jarl “Chuck” Sandos. Jim resided in various cities mainly throughout Ontario where he worked passionately in Sales throughout his entire career. Jim will be dearly missed by all and never, ever forgotten. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. A celebration of Life will be held in Kingston Ontario at a later date.
