<p>Maria Ninfa Jimenez, age 83, passed peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing.</p><p><br></p><p>Maria was born in Zacatecas, Mexico. She was the oldest of two children.</p><p><br></p><p>At the age of 15, she moved along with her mother from Mexico to Salinas and had lived there ever since.</p><p><br></p><p>Maria worked various jobs during her career which included, El Charrito Market, Artichoke Industries, Dalgety Foods/Simplot, and Memorial Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>Maria was preceded in death by his her mother, Maria Concepcion Banuelos, and younger brother, Javier Banuelos.</p><p><br></p><p>She survived by her husband, Johnny, her three children, John (Virginia), Jessie, Javier, and three grandchildren, Leo, Lilly and Lola.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 7th 2023 from 1pm to 5 pm and the Rosary will be at 4pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA 93905.</p><p><br></p><p>Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 8th, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Sacred Heart Church.</p><p><br></p><p>Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott Street Salinas, CA 93901.</p>Obituary
