Nicola Parente, a beloved husband, father, brother, and sister to Raffaele, Mario, Margherita, Gina, Falco, and Anna, son for parents were Lucia and Giuseppe Parente.

passed away on May 26, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He lived an incredible life, filled with joy, compassion, and devotion to his family.

Nicola was born on July 20, 1944, and from the very beginning, his warmth and kindness touched the hearts of those around him. He carried himself with grace, always putting others before himself and radiating a genuine love for his family. But there was another side to Nicola that brought laughter and smiles to those around him. He had a mischievous sense of humour, a joker at heart, always ready with a funny anecdote or a well-timed joke to brighten the room.

As a devoted husband, Nicola shared a profound connection with his beloved wife, Rosa, whose unwavering support and love were a constant source of strength for him. Together, they built a life rooted in love, trust, and mutual understanding, setting an inspiring example for their children and all who witnessed their bond.

Nicola's role as a father was one that brought him immense joy and fulfillment. He embraced the responsibilities of parenthood with open arms, nurturing his son Antonio and instilling in him the values of kindness, compassion, and resilience. His love knew no bounds, and he always found a way to bring laughter and joy to their lives, even in the toughest of times.

One of the greatest joys in Nicola's life was the arrival of his beautiful granddaughter, Zoey. His eyes would light up with pure delight whenever he spent time with her, creating cherished memories filled with laughter and playfulness. He had a special talent for making her giggle, and his funny antics brought endless joy to both her and the entire family.

Nicola will be remembered for his immense heart, his unwavering love for his family, and his commitment to living a life guided by integrity. His warm smile, his comforting presence, his mischievous sense of humour, and his kind words will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the life of Nicola Parente, a man who touched our lives with his incredible integrity, a big heart, and his ability to bring laughter to any situation. Though he may no longer be with us, his spirit will forever live on, reminding us to cherish the moments we have with our loved ones and to embrace the values he held so dear.

Visitation will take place at DeMarco Funeral Home (Keele Chapel) – 3725 Keele Street, Toronto, ON. (416.636.7027) on Tuesday May 30, 2023 from 2:00-4:00pm & 6:00-9:00pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Bernard de Clairvaux church (1789 Lawrence Avenue West) at 11:00am on Wednesday May 31, 2023. Entombment will be held at Westminster Cemetery located at 5830 Bathurst Street, Toronto, Ontario, M2R 1Y6 (Bathurst and Finch).

Reservations or RSVPs are no longer required to attend your family’s visitation or funeral.
